Fight Commentary (Calico Carter vs Fiadh) (D5, EA)

[Jason Brooks]

A small table was set up near the arena for the three commentators to discuss the fight and offer their commentary for the fans watching on television.

"Welcome to the final match of The Oceanside Rumble, everyone! I'm Jason Brooks, here with Citaly Velasco and up-and-coming popstar Ashley Elle, here on ANN. The final battle involves Calico Carter versus the mysterious Fiadh. Will Orlok's mental tricks prevail over the raw power of Riki? Let's find out!"

[Rayfe Drathmire]

Rayfe and Nyx had arrived early to get the best seats they could manage. The young Magnox was back to her usual energetic self, gazing down at the arena with bright blue eyes. She props her hooves up on the railing and swishes her tail happily. Look! It was her Purple Goddess!! The best scratches!

Her wrangler reaches over and ruffles the Magnox between the ears. He gazes between Riki and Orlok. Who would prevail?

"Come on, coldsnap." Rayfe mutters.under his breath.

Nyx snorts in agreement.

[Ashley Elle]

Ashley was here with both of her mosnters in her baby carriage. She did her best to assure Jason that she was the real Ashley before the broadcast. Hopefully, she believe him.

"This is a exciting match Jason! One of the fascinating parts about monster battling is when you get monsters who have entirely different battle styles. And we are certainly getting that here. What better way for this tournament to end than a battle of ice and fire."

[Milo Whitewood]

"Go for it Calico! Put that big lizard to sleep Orlok! DON'T HOLD BACK!" Milo calls out enthusiastically. Diva was laying down beside him and far less invested in the bout.

Mostly because she didn't know what was going on.

[Ashley Elle]

"And we have a winner! Calico Carter and Orlok win! Vasoworth Solutions certainly had a good eye when they sponsored them. Vasoworth Solutions always has the right solution to a problem and for this tournament, that was a little saturanadus name Orlok." Ashley needed to polish her ad placement, but she was trying.

"And let's hand it Fiadh and Riki who proved to be strong, almost unstoppable, duo."

[Felix Lang]

Felix was there as well cheering loudly to the point some heads turned here and there.

As the dragon went unconscious Felix jumped into the air pulling his fists "Hell yeah! I knew you could do it!"

[Mara Froste]

Mara was there with Blitz growling and roaring approval. Unfortunately, they were seated further back. As Orlok won Blitz let out a triumphant roar and raced as close to the ring as possible.

[Calico Carter]

Orlok, who had been circling the ring, spotted Blitz as she reached ringside and flew over at top speed.

[Mara Froste]

Blitz hopped over the wall, and started purring and licking Orlok happily. She kept trying to stand on her back legs and hopped up and down trying to reach the excited Orlok.

[Calico Carter]

He flew low enough to let his mate reach him, his forelimbs carefully grooming her face.

[Mara Froste]

Blitz crooned happily and looked over at the dragon. Her eyes widened seeing how big he was up close and not distracted by food. The feline chirped proudly up at Orlok for beating the big, bad dragon and many other foes.

'Congrats, Calico! Also, congrats Fiadh and Riki!' Mara yelled the last bit over to the girl and her dragon brother. 'And you Orlok, you are the best Saturnadus ever! Huh Blitz!'

'Prrrnn'h!'

'I can't believe he managed to put everyone to sleep in every round. Those psychic attacks are strong!'

[Calico Carter]

Calico turned to smile and wave.

Mara, Felix, Rayfe, Milo, Blitz, Orlok, Nyx, Sumaru...

Sheesh. More friends in this room than I've had in the last six years put together...

[Milo Whitewood]

Milo waved and smiled. He adds a double thumbs up too.

Meanwhile Diva looked like she might try that whole sleeping thing. Nobody was looking at her. It was terrible.

[Jason Brooks]

"Well, that was certainly a fight," Jason says, sounding a bit disappointed. "That wraps up The Oceanside Rumble, folks! Tune in tomorrow for the awards ceremony, where we will have an exclusive interview with the winner of the tournament, no matter what those channel 7 jerks try to pull."
