[Day 5, Late Afternoon- Calico's Room] Low-Key Celebration (Open)

[Calico Carter]

"Suppose time will tell."

She shook her head.

"Anyhow. Jokes aside, I appreciate the vote of confidence. And I'm glad you're in, because, well... having you on hand might make some negotiations a bit easier."

[Felix Lang]

An eyebrow raised "Oh? Business ones? Or more....personal finance matters?"

[Calico Carter]

"I'm going to try to not have those 'personal finance' sorts of dealings, but... take it from me. People who'd try to give Mara or me the runaround would think twice trying the same crap with you. Something about a guy who looks like he can twist them into pretzels gets a lot of the smarmier types to knock it off."

[Felix Lang]

He nods "didn't know if you would need help ending your current arrangement, though you did say the Nose was a good guy." He shrugged "if you need someone there with you for that I'm happy to loom."

"But otherwise yeah I can see that, and I don't know much about business or finance so if I can help with that side of things by just being at meetings that's good by me."

[Calico Carter]

"We can start that way, but eventually, you'll learn what you need to know."

She gave him a wink.

"That's what I'm doing, anyway!"

[Felix Lang]

He chuckled a little "I don't think you'd be so confident in me if you'd seen me in school growing up." He winked back

Limited booze about but he had snagged a little to bring with him and he poured them both a small celebratory drink.

"I'm excited to see where this goes Calico Carter." He toasted and hung out with Calico for a while celebrating her victory, talking about the future, and getting to know his new business partner a bit better.
