[Fiadh]

Fiadh, or more specifically the infamous 'wildfire girl', has been (according to rumour and apparent eyewitness scenes) causing havoc in the Sargaros province for years. Looting, attacking travellers, and other deeds. Those few who have actually seen her describe a small young female (barely older than early teens at a guess) with red hair and tattered clothing, riding a dragon that is quite literally on fire, which is where the name 'Wildfire Girl' was born from.

All previous reports have never mentioned of sightings beyond the Sargaros province, so her arrival to the tournament grounds will be a surprise (welcome or unwelcome) for many.

• Those who frequent or live in the Saragos province will be aware of the infamous Wildfire girl and her flame Dragon - perhaps you have even come across her?

With hits like 'Nappen Time,' 'Wrangle This,' and 'Mesmot My Heart' all breaking the Top 10, there are high hopes for her.... She doesn't just sings about monsters either. She's an amateur monster wrangler herself and will be entering some monster battling tournaments before her tour begins along with her exotic monster. The first one is called the 'The Oceanside Rumble' that can be found at..."

Excerpt from Monsters Weekly: "This is Mr. Wiggles. He is my best friend. So adorable and cute." Miss Elle the hugs her monster. "Since he hatched, we do everything together. I'm even teaching him how to dance. My grandfather gave him to me. Kleeths are pretty rare, even Rosalia, so most people didn't even know they existed, much less seen one."

[Sam Eris]

Sam is a country girl from the rural area of Varsole. She likes to take care of the monsters helping out. She wanders around with her bag and her gympix Ginger. Sam doesn't understand written words but she can make a mean remedy for whatever ails you or your monster.

Mara is a native of southern Arensa and hasn't traveled far outside her native region. She's always seen with her dark-furred staguar Blitz at her side working odd jobs for any that will hire her. Anyone who watches them will notice Blitz seems babied a bit by Mara.
When it comes to monsters, Mara is a gentle, observant, young woman. However, she seems overly cautious when interacting with other people.

-What is romantic? What is frightening? Mara may have no clue when it comes to relationships with people, but she seems to innately understand the desires and needs of monsters.
-Any who are familiar with Ophidian Studios will likely have heard of the famous Lorelei Froste from Arensa who breeds monsters for performers. However, the name Mara is never mentioned.
-Arensa native? Mara travels around her home region a good bit.

[Calico Carter]

Name: Calico Carter

Hair color: An unnatural violet. Her eyebrows indicate that it's not dye.

Calico Carter used to be known, about six years ago, as rising local star of the Amorian performing arts circuit. That was then.

Since the Greenbottle Bay Fire, her prior career is in tatters. She makes a living trapping monsters on a small scale, and is almost good enough at it to cover her gambling debts.

Almost.

She's shown up to the tournament with a Saturnadus named Orlok and about two onz to rub together.

[Antony Acierno]

Name: Antony Acierno

Antony is a local kid, looking to make a name for himself. His father had been content to work mines: Arsena had built itself as a hub of natural resources in ages past. While members of the government loved to talk about how they were moving to more culture exports, very few would go into detail about what that entailed and the cost that would have on the old way of life. As time went on, the mines began to shut down as veins were exhausted, leaving old areas to pick through. For an enterprising child that was the son of a miner in the dwindling trade, it was literally a golden opportunity.

Antony began rooting through one of the abandoned veins. He was somewhat reckless in his adventures, a wooden section collapsed. He was hurt in the fall, his leg permanently damaged by a break. Pulling his way out, he encountered a strange and heavily damaged creature that seemed intent on chewing on the rubble inside the cave. Using his knowledge of the mine, Antony was able to use the hovering thing to limp his way out. Set with a permanent limp even after healing, Antony returned to the mine to find the creature that had saved him. While he was slowed, Antony studied mechanics and helped repair the creature based on the what he could learn from mining equipment. While it wasn’t perfect, the pair worked out a symbiotic relationship: the creature (who Antony named Rocky) was chewing through the rubble for crystals and didn’t care about the minerals it was spitting out, which Antony would sell for spending money and to help repair Rocky.

Hitting the edges of adulthood, Antony sees the upcoming tournament as a way to test out life on a battle circuit to see if is worthwhile to make a living in, and to see if he can maybe find another beings like Rocky.

• Antony grew up in Arsena and has plenty of hometown blue collar pride. Do you share it? Is there a rivalry
• Mechanic on a budget. He's willin to take on some work that others would sneer at.
• Do you have a mechanical monster? Antony really needs to figure out if Rocky is like any others

[Citaly Velasco]

Name: Citaly Adriana Velasco Gutierrez

Job: Actress/Fight Commentator

Citaly is and and elegant, an actress on the popular telenovela "The Flavor of Love", where she pairs with an elegant Hesperox as her "co-star". It therefore comes as a surprise to many people that in real life, her best friend is a stupid, ugly, mildly disgusting Hergh who she has affectionately named Mr. Pukeybirb. While she's gone to great efforts to make him as palatable to other people as possible through extensive washing and grooming, he's still a Hergh and there's only so much you can do. She seems to love her friend without any scent-related reservation, though.

She's at the competition as a celebrity commentator, since she spent time as a Monster Wrangler when she was a teenager and made a decent splash on the circuit. Now she's hoping the network's exposure will help her finally get the attention of Ophidian Studios.

When she's not on the job, she's usually spending time with her Hergh. She's friendly and amiable in her day to day life, even while wearing sunglasses and a hat to try and avoid too much attention.

• Residents of Sargaros will have undoubtedly caught an episode or two of Flavor of Love if they watch TV much.
• Can you tolerate her friend without making weird faces? She appreciates that.
• Citaly is curious about other people, and wants to learn more about their lives.

[Ari]

Name: Arianllyn "Ari" Angharad

Ari is unusual. For the most part, she seems like the typical tween girl. She resents any suggestion that she's too young for certain things. She's sharp and knowledgeable, and can seem older than she is, at times. But, she isn't entirely ready to let go of childish impulses.

Ari is especially enamored with young monsters and other cute creatures. She travels with a small animal. A kitten. Or, a puppy. Maybe some kind of lizard. Regardless, she dotes on the little thing, which loves all the attention.

Llyan
To those who often come across Ari, it may seem like she travels with a multitude of pets and monsters. At any given time she may be accompanied by any one of an unknown assortment of creatures. A loxabox, a cindrow, a magnox, a nappen, a womburn and many more might appear by her side. Whichever creature accompanies her, it is always the only one and it usually tries to hide behind Ari. She always refers to it as Llyan.

“My name is CARL HEINRICH. We live in Sargaros now, but my family’s from the OLD Empire. I don’t like to brag, but I’m at the TOP of my engineering class, and I mean to KEEP it that way!"

"Towards that end, I have brought KILLBOT REX, a Warwolf Construct of advanced Majuul design. My thesis is that if the Majuul Empire had deployed Warwolves in GREATER numbers over the inferior Jinglot model, they would’ve DEFEATED the Monster Wranglers and CRUSHED Amoria."

"This tournament gives me an EXCELLENT opportunity to gather data to TEST my theory, namely, by providing a SERIES of structured, CONTROLLED encounters between KILLBOT REX and Monsters of a more ORGANIC nature. I look forward to validating my hypothesis... in BATTLE!”

[Rayfe Drathmire]

Name: Rayfe Drathmire
Age: 23

Story:
An Arensa native hailing from the capitol, Rayfe is the third youngest of a large family that owns the Drathmire Stables. The fastest Magnox in the country are bred at this facility. The Drathmires are one of the top competitors in the annual Magnox race - the Frosa Derby.

Rayfe is not a racer, but more of a brutal performer. He is often seen engaging in vicious jousts on his huge Magnox, Orpheus, as part of the intermission for the races. He prefers to be nameless in these combats, with the spotlight shining on his prized Magnox instead.

When Orpheus unexpectedly sired an extremely ordinary female foal, the future of the young monster among an impressive lineup of star Magnox looked grim. Rayfe proposed to his family that he would take the juvenile monster to the local Oceanside Rumble Tournament. Perhaps young Nyx would have a future in battling?

The stakes are high for this rookie duo. The Drathmires don't take second place monsters. The local restaurants might.

Nyx:
A playful young Magnox that loves attention. She is often seen rolling around her barrel feeder enrichment toy, but would much prefer affection from her disinterested Wrangler to keep her occupied. She's extra fluffy and a bit round for her size.

[Felix Lang]

Name: Felix Lang
Age: 22

Hair color: Blue, with yellowish green lower layer
Eye color: light Brown

Felix is an imposingly large man who carries himself with the air of one who knows how to defend themselves. Despite his intimidating size he is almost always affable and friendly to those he meets. This only changes when he is in a battle where his demeanor grows serious and razor focused.

Felix further stands out due to a slightly unusual appearance his very light eyes appear yellow in the right light but default to a light brown. His hair is a deep shade of blue and underneath an electric yellowish greenish color.

His young Temprill that accompanies him either takes after Felix or the two have always been kindred spirits. The much smaller electrically charged simian mirrors the same confidence Felix hold as they walk.

Hooks
- if anyone had their finger to the pulse of human combat sports a couple years ago they might have heard of Felix
- while he moves with the confidence of someone that is very attuned to their body something about their gait looks a little off to the observant eye
- want to Spar? Go out for drinks? Just chat? Felix is always down to make a new friend!

[Milo Whitewood]

Story:
Milo is a traveling competitor originally from Amoria. Like many Amorians he is a wrangler, although his first monster isn't the norm. That aside, Milo is an orphan who enjoys adventure and exploration. He's full of wanderlust. He loves seeing open places and meeting new people. His biggest wish at the moment is to wrangle another monster. He'd love a Staguar or a Nappen as another companion.

As a young boy with a baby face who is yet to hit his teenage growth spurt, Milo is a little jealous of all the cool, tall adults. He would like to be more personally capable rather than always relying on his monster Diva in difficult situations. He is, however, very confident when accompanied by Diva and he always tries to be brave. On the other hand he is very scared of small, tight spaces. He'll take the stairs over a lift, thank you!

In regards to the tournament he's looking to enjoy it more than anything. This will be his first official competition. It's in a neighbouring country, but he doesn't know much about that. Most of his skills and know how are far more immediately practical. Seeing the ocean and meeting other new wranglers has him very excited and upbeat.

Diva:
Milo does know that constructs are neither male or female, but with how Diva struts about and carries herself, the name stuck. Diva is an attention seeking Warwolf that usually acts more like a pedigree dog than a wolf. Diva is a worn construct, but her armour plates have been buffed to a shine. She has a white sheen to her that further catches the eye. Only when Milo is threatened does her more expected programming show, whereupon she begins to growl and move to protect her master at all costs.

Hooks:
- Milo takes the whole wrangling thing quite seriously and admires other courageous wranglers and the stories of Amorians who protected their country. Fellow Amorians in particular might find a lot in common with Milo.
- Mechanics with constructs - you're so smart! Can you show this amateur a few things?
- Need help with something or to borrow a few onz? Milo appears very well supplied.
- Milo's parents died protecting their Amorian ranch and home town from a swarm of threatening monsters. Were you there?
- Sometimes weird, inexplicable things happen around Milo, but nobody believes him. It could be you're the exception who does. Just what is that all about? It's a mystery.

[Dion Moore]

Name: Dion Moore

Story:
Dion is so poor and scrawny that most assume he is homeless. Hailing from the swamps of Kers his family is large and terribly poor as is the tiny village they live in. His natural talents as a wrangler and deep bond with his companion Morty saw him become the master duelist of his little village and his parents scrapped together enough money to send him to a few larger tournaments. With the pressure to win and help his family on his shoulders he won his first real tournament but ended up killing his opponents monster; this did not disqualify him though several people protested and the money he won went a long way in helping his family. Sadly, in the next tournament he again ended up killing his opponents monster leading to him being disqualified and banned from local events for three years. His family and the entire village he lives in have rallied around him and managed to send him across the sea for the tournament in Crayton where he hopes to make his people proud and change his public perception.

Morty:
Morty is a juvenile Mycetar; short, slow and lumbering this loyal and obedient creature is still young enough that the parasites infecting him haven't completely robbed him of personality though day by day Dion can see the change happening and Morty can often be found simply staring off into nothing as his mind changes. Some have tried to blame Morty for the deaths that have occurred but Dion strongly objects to those comments, defending his friend with his bare fists if he must.

[Desmond Brown]

Name: Desmond Brown
Age: 13

Coming from Rolsdale, just a couple of hours south of Crayton, Desmond has been spoiled rotten by his doting mother - it’s not that he doesn’t get on with the other kids... it’s just that in his mind they’re not quite ‘up to his level’. Having hit a bit of a growth spurt, he's a bit taller than the average, so that doesn't help either.

He loves reading books about monsters, then getting out there and taking photos of them, especially Vermin - the unsung heroes of the monster world. He’s good at making traps and getting close enough to monsters to take photos, but when they start to take note of him and being aggressive, he’s gone as fast as his legs can carry him.

Lucy was given to him by his mother, along with the large blue bow attached very securely to the back of her shell, where it won’t be sucked into the vents. Considering that she's got armour and is probably quite capable of taking care of herself, he's probably a bit too protective of her.
